In 1825, about thirty years before the discovery of briar, the Comoy family was making pipes in Avignon, a small village near St-Claude in the Jura. At that time, the pipes were made of boxwood. In 1856, the year of the discovery of briar, the Comoy house moved to Saint-Claude and became the first pipe manufacturer in this village. After the First World War, Comoy officially partnered with their cousins Chapuis. The St-Claude company then took the name Chapuis-Comoy & Cie, and the Chacom pipe was born. More than 170 models are now available in our shop, and dozens of accessories complete this collection. Enthusiasts and collectors will definitely find the model that meets their expectations.
