Chacom Spéciale straight sandblasted pipe

On the Chacom pipe Spéciale Straight Sandblasted, it is the ring that first catches the eye: crafted metal with rock-pattern detailing, it bears the inscription « Saint-Claude » in full, a direct tribute to the historic capital of French pipe making. The accompanying briar bowl features a deeply pronounced sandblasted finish, carving deeply into the wood grain beneath a rich brown hue. The understated, substantial black acrylic straight stem balances the whole without competing with the ring.

With its 15.2 cm length and 68 g weight, this pipe has a real presence in the hand. It is not pre-carbonized and is smoked without a filter, for direct contact with the wood from the very first uses.

Based in Saint-Claude since the 19th century, Chacom is one of the most respected French pipe manufacturers, thanks to meticulous wood craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation.
