The
Chacom pipe Corsica Sandblasted Straight is unlike any other model: it comes from a limited series of only 100 numbered pieces per finish, crafted in Saint-Claude from Corsican briar brought back from an unexpected trip to the island. The dark brown, textured sandblasted finish reveals the natural grain of the wood, while a copper band enhances the joint with the acrylic stem, whose mahogany highlights are streaked with fine veins.
Each pipe in this collection carries a little of the story that gave birth to it: a childhood friendship between two families of pipe makers from Saint-Claude, a trip to Corsica extended by a maritime transport strike, and the decision to turn this unexpected wait into a discovery of Cap Corse. With its straight shape and its 14.5 cm length for 41 g, it is aimed at collectors as well as enthusiasts who appreciate a piece with a real story to tell.
