Behind this Chacom pipe Corsica Smooth Straight lies a story of friendship and unexpected travel: that of two sons of pipe makers from Saint-Claude, who set out to find a batch of briar in Corsica and were stranded on the island by a maritime transport strike. From this journey came the Corsica collection, limited to just 100 numbered pieces per finish. On this model, the briar is given a smooth polish that reveals all of its brown grain, enhanced by a copper band and a mahogany acrylic stem with warm highlights.

Straight shape, total length of 14.5 cm and weight of 41 g, 3 mm drilling: this pipe retains all the characteristics of the sandblasted version, in a cleaner, glossier aesthetic designed for enthusiasts who prefer to let the natural grain of the wood speak for itself without added texture.

Based in Saint-Claude since the 19th century, Chacom is one of the most respected French pipe manufacturers, thanks to meticulous woodwork passed down from generation to generation.
