What is a Blunt wrap?

You have probably already heard of them, or maybe even seen them while wondering what they could be. Let's take a closer look at these unusual natural and sometimes flavored rolling papers.

If you are used to rolling your cigarettes with traditional tobacco papers, you should quickly try Blunt. They get their name from Phillies Blunt Cigars, an American company that since 1910 has had the idea of marketing its cigarettes wrapped in large tobacco leaves. Later, in the 1980s, the popularity of American rappers smoking on stage put the Blunt in the spotlight. These colored and thicker leaves allowed them to smoke all kinds of tobacco or herbs as if it were a cigar.
Today, Blunts are natural wraps, as they are made from tobacco or hemp leaves. It should be noted that the sale of tobacco leaves online is prohibited. There are also Blunts made of wood pulp and natural glue. Their size is slightly larger than king size papers. Some Blunt papers are also scented or flavored to give another dimension to your tobacco.

Blunt papers come in several models: with or without glue and already rolled or ready to roll. There are also natural Blunt papers, unbleached and chemically untreated. It is a very thin rolling paper, similar to regular rolling papers.They are equipped with a glue strip to make rolling easier.

On the price side, there is also a big difference since Blunts are generally sold individually, in packs of 10 or 25. Hemp or tobacco Blunt wraps cost more (between 2 and 3 euros per wrap), while thinner Blunt wraps can be found for less than one euro. Of course, packs remain more economical.

Why use Blunt wraps?

As you will have understood, these rolling papers are natural. As such, they are not soaked in chemicals or bleaching agents. Furthermore, they give very particular flavors to the tobacco since they also deliver additional aromas.
