Laguiole Winemaker Knife

Laguiole Winemaker Knife authentic and entirely made in France in the Laguiole Origin Zone by a single skilled knife maker. Composed of a blade and 2 matte stainless steel bolsters, this Winemaker knife finds its full identity in the customization of its fly, which is a bunch of grapes, and its spring made of vine leaves. The LOG (Laguiole Origine Garantie) stamp found on its blade certifies that this knife possesses a set of specific characteristics superior to those of a similar ordinary product (manufacturing origin and compliance with the specifications regarding the materials used and the assembly of the knife).

Care advice: A Laguiole knife should be wiped and not washed to avoid damaging the wood. To maintain the edge of its blade, it is recommended to sharpen it with a natural stone.

Created in 1829, the brand takes its name from the town of Laguiole in Aveyron, where the knife was originally made.
The stopper on the blade is most often a bee; legend has it that it was Napoleon I who granted the inhabitants of Laguiole the right to use this imperial symbol as a reward for their bravery in battle.
Thanks to its elegance and distinctive lines, as well as the use of luxury materials and impeccable finish, this knife has become a true work of art.
