The bong is a device used for smoking tobacco in a different way. That is to say, by using water. The cooled smoke will be more pleasant to inhale. Its use may seem complex, but in reality, it is not. The operation of a bong is rather simple.
First, you need to fill the bong with water (5). The liquid should cover the stem. Be careful not to put too much. Some water pipes are equipped with a carburetor, and the water must not overflow through this hole. Ideally, the stem should be submerged about 2 cm. To know if the amount is sufficient, inhale through the mouthpiece: if the water bubbles (6), it’s perfect; however, if you get it on your lips, it means there is too much. As for whether to use hot or cold water, this depends on the individual.Don't forget to also fill your percolators with water! Likewise, if you prefer the smoke to be really cool, you can add ice cubes.
Next, you need to prepare the bowl. Blow into it to check that it is not clogged. If it is, you will need to clear it with a sharp tool. Add the ground smoking material into the bowl and place it on the end of the stem. If your pipe hasWater is equipped with a percolator, you can remove the bowl while you smoke, otherwise you will need to leave it in place for the entire experience.

Hold the neck in your dominant hand and make sure to use it on a flat surface to avoid it falling and breaking. Place your lips on the mouthpiece to create a seal. With the other hand, hold the lighter on the edge of the bowl and once the flame has caught, start inhaling gently. You can move the lighter away.Remove the bowl or take your finger off the carburetor to avoid having your lungs filled with smoke. Then slowly exhale the inhaled smoke.
