Make sure you use the supplied flat power cable and do not plug the round power adapter directly into the upper control unit. The flat power cable connects to the "DC 12 V" terminal. Do not plug the round power connector into the "EXT FAN" terminal.

If connected incorrectly, the fan may continue to operate even after reaching the target humidity.
