Unreliable joints

Occasional pipe smoker, I am horrified to discover my dry tobacco when opening the jar after 2 months of absence. In the jar, the Boveda Humidipak is dry.
I check the hygrometer which still indicates 75%. Looking closer, it only stays in place because of a plastic 'joint' on the vented lid.

So, €30 of tobacco lost, and a jar that is unusable.

Skeptical

I am skeptical about the reliability of the hygrometer. Indeed, it always shows the same value before and after the tobacco dries, always at 60 and 80 and fluctuates constantly, even without opening the box.

Beautiful effect

Nice tobacco jar with a top that measures humidity, very nice, the quality of the measurement must not be very accurate, because there is no seal around the system at the pot's junction. The plastic of the lid, however, is average, poorly finished plastic and slightly cracked in places
