For your information, after a few weeks of delay, I spoke to a charming person on the phone to whom I asked for a refund. This person very politely told me no as long as the investigation with the carrier was not finished... a few days later I was refunded.
Changed carrier, this kind of problem can happen, but make a commercial gesture. What a shame!
