Hooked lighters are sold empty. It is strongly recommended to use the specific ST Dupont white gas refill from the range. Indeed, this ensures optimal operation of the Hooked lighter. It requires a particular mixture of butane, propane, and isobutane, precisely dosed to achieve an effective flame.

The procedure for filling a Hooked lighter is not so different from other lighters. That said, some prerequisites seem essential to fully enjoy the benefits and performance of the S. T. Dupont lighter. It is therefore recommended to use only the (iso) butane gas of the brand.
Four steps will therefore be necessary to refill your lighter. The first is to place the lighter in a vertical position, head down. Next, insert the refill nozzle into the valve, making sure to insert it straight. Then, perform two presses of a maximum of 5 seconds each. Your lighter is refilled.
It is highly recommended to wait 5 minutes before relighting the lighter. Skipping this step exposes you to the risk of malfunction of your accessory.
At the end of this waiting time, you can then relight the lighter and make the necessary adjustments. You can adjust the gas flow by turning the screw (turn to the plus side to increase the flow or to the minus side to decrease it).
