The history of the famous Peterson pipes began in Dublin in 1865 with Friedrich & Heinrich KAPP, two brothers who manufactured and sold meerschaum and briar pipes.
Buoyed by their success, they established a partnership with Charles Peterson and the company was named Kapp & Peterson (hence the engraving "K&P" on some pipes). Over time, the manufacturers combined tradition and innovation to provide maximum comfort to users of these famous quality pipes.
