This is how the first Lampe Berger was born. They quickly became coveted, to the point that Maurice Berger began marketing them to the general public. He opened his own store called Lampe Berger in Paris, and people flocked to buy his products.  In the 1930s, the success of Berger lamps was at its peak. It was then that many famous figures such as Coco Chanel, Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau, and even Colette, associated themselves with the brand by owning their own Berger lamp.
