When to rehumidify my humidifier?

A humidifier equipped with acrylic crystals should be rehumidified once a month. Of course, this frequency can vary depending on several factors (the size of your humidifier, the number of cigars, the number of times the humidor is opened...) To proceed with rehumidification, we recommend placing your crystal humidifier on a tray, sprinkling it with distilled water, and letting it soak for at least 5 minutes.

Why use distilled water?
Distilled water better prevents the risk of mold, unlike tap water which contains minerals that reduce the efficiency of the humidifier as well as bacteria and chlorine which promote the formation of mold.
