Inspired by the shape of reading pipes such as the Churchwarden, the Natural Extra Long Straight Cogolin Pipe is based on a beautiful aesthetic shaped by its elongated body. Made of a briar bowl with a natural finish and a long straight black ebonite stem, this smoking pipe will provide you with a great sense of satisfaction. The stem of this smoking pipe is marked with the Courrieu Cogolin brand name, and the front of the tenon is stamped with the silver rooster that is the pride of the French manufacturer.

It was in 1802, in the south of France, in Cogolin, that the Courrieu family created the first pipe, which was the first of a long series; Today, they are still crafted at the Ch. Good pipe

For the small price, it is a very good pipe well suited for beginners. The breaking in is done very easily, the briar seems to me to be of very good quality. Only a small drawback, the stem which I find fragile. I don’t think it’s real ebonite or it is of poor quality. Fast shipping, however, the packaging quality is not good at all. The box containing the pipe was forced into the shipping carton, the stem literally pierced the cardboard. I was very lucky to receive my pipe in one piece.
