S. T. Dupont presents its 4 new lighters

Here is the new arrival of the season at S. T. Dupont: 4 ergonomic, slimline lighters designed for women and men alike. A closer look at the new MegaJet lighters.

The MegaJet lighter in all its versions

Four colours for an ergonomic design with smoother lines. MegaJet is a lighter that sets out to be more modern and easier to live with. Fitted with a powerful torch flame, it lights quickly and effectively in all circumstances. An air system based on activated carbon improves the ventilation of the flame, which can also be adjusted using the selector.

On colours, S. T. Dupont has gone for the timeless: a deep red, brushed chrome and two blacks, one with a chrome head and the other in matt black throughout. A chrome bar bearing the brand name, which doubles as the ignition button, sits above the straight edge of the MegaJet lighter. At 95 g, and with suitable dimensions (6.5 x 3.5 x 1.3 cm), it can be carried in a handbag or a jacket pocket without weighing clothes down or pulling them out of shape.

A slimline, minimalist lighter

The prevailing trend is for anything superfluous to be stripped away. S. T. Dupont has taken that minimalist trend into account in shaping its lighters in the simplest possible form. It takes nothing away from their finish: plainer, they are also more understated.

The MegaJet lighter is well suited to lighting cigarettes, and also to cigars. A slight curve around the flame outlet allows any cigar to be lit evenly. Its torch is powerful and 90 mm wide, enough to light even the largest ring gauges.

Note that the lighters are all sold without gas. A separate refill canister therefore has to be bought. The filling valve is on the underside of the lighter.
