Chacom unveils its 2020 Christmas pipe

Christmas is coming and, as every year, Chacom is sticking to the rule with a special pipe for the festive season. Here is a look at the new 2020 model, to give or to keep.

A continuing tradition

It has become a ritual that regulars and enthusiasts of Chacom pipes now expect. As in previous years, the great French pipe house is releasing its Christmas 2020 model, available in several shapes.

Finely drawn and finished in autumnal colours, it once again takes its place among the pipes of the year. This Chacom Christmas pipe makes an unusual present to leave under the tree for a pipe smoker or a collector. It comes in four different shapes: 42 (the classic model), 186 (the straight neogene cut), 869 (the bent cut) and 168 (the straight ball).

Now to the anatomy of the Chacom pipe for Christmas 2020. The stem is the same across all the shapes. It is made of green marbled acrylic and contrasts neatly with the brown-orange finish of the briar bowl. The weight ranges between 40 and 50 g depending on the model, which remains manageable for anyone, including complete newcomers.

This new Christmas pipe has a chrome-plated aluminium band and is of course fitted for 9 mm, with an adapter supplied so that each user can choose the filter that suits them best. The Chacom Christmas pipe is protected by a jute sleeve and housed in a poplar case made in France and screen-printed in the pipe maker's colours.

All the Christmas 2020 models are made in the workshops at Villard-Saint-Sauveur, not far from Saint-Claude. As for the price, the recommended retail price is 102.50 euros, enough for a handsome Christmas present for someone close to you, or to round out your own collection of French pipes.
