Discovering the Vincent dans les vapes e-liquids

Nine years old already, the French brand Vincent dans les vapes (VDLV) is in no danger of being forgotten. VDLV is an e-liquid maker unlike any other. A closer look at the brand.

From discovery to creation

Like a good many others, Vincent Cuisset, an instrumentation engineer specialising in metrology, came across the e-cigarette. He began asking himself all sorts of questions about the effect of e-liquids on health, and decided to create his own vaping products.

The brand was born after two years of research on a product then unlike anything else on the market. These new-generation e-liquids are made in France and, according to the company, contain only natural flavourings. They were the first products of their kind to be certified to an AFNOR standard, in 2016.

Nicotine extracted for vaping

Intent on going further still, VDLV has also become the only company in the world to extract nicotine directly from tobacco leaves for use in vaping alone. With the help of its partners, it is close to producing the only wholly French e-liquid, that is to say one made with tobacco grown exclusively on French soil and dedicated to the production of nicotine for vaping.

What kinds of e-liquid does VDLV offer?

The VDLV range is a broad one, mixing classic products with some very distinctive flavours. There are the fruit ones: aniseed, apricot, pineapple, banana, cherry, strawberry, coconut and so on. For the undecided, fruit blends are also available, such as the specials Grand jeu (pear, apple, maple syrup), Grand Mendez (tutti frutti and cola) and Grande évasion (coconut biscuit, pomegranate and peach).

It is also possible to go for more plant-based notes such as fresh mint, ice mint or absinthe. For the bolder, blends like Burlet, Hudson or Quantico are on offer. Finally, tea lovers can turn to dedicated flavours such as red berry tea or Grand maître (chai tea, lemon and mandarin).
