Inspiration drawn from nature

Pierre Maréchal loves nature. Long inspired by its secrets, he draws on that endless resource to create remarkable pieces of furniture and one-off cigar boxes.

Wood, leather, stone: this cabinetmaker by trade denies himself nothing. He works materials like no one else, playing on the subtlety of his imagination and of his hands. That is how boxes with hidden recesses come about. Buoyed by his success and driven by his craft, he has worked on a high-end humidor which, too, conceals secret compartments.

A miniature humidor

Working with Yann Daniel, the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme, Whisky Dalmore and Maxime Gilger, Pierre Maréchal brought his skills to the making of a case designed as a miniature humidor. How it is made will remain a closely guarded secret, but the result is there to see. Named “The Dalmore Cigar Old Fashioned”, the case looks like a golden sphere.

All the experience of working wood with delicacy can be found in the various humidor models signed by Maison Tercecret. The finish is set off by impeccable materials and meticulous care. The choice of woods is made with attention to tradition. Pierre Maréchal is one of those dedicated cabinetmakers who respect the technical rules of design.
