A luxury lighter, sculpted for dandies (Limited Edition)

The house of S.T. Dupont has produced, in collaboration with the master sculptor Laquart, a new creation with an original name: “Monsieur Os”, or “Dandy Skull”.

This lighter, the product of recognised manufacturing expertise, is in gold-plated bronze. It shows a smiling skull wearing a top hat, dressed in a jacket and a gold bow tie set with a 1.5 mm diamond. With black obsidian, white agate and polychrome jasper among its other materials, it is unmistakably a luxury item for dandies.

A new collaboration

It can be sold on its own, or paired with a sculpture that serves as a stand for the lighter. Where the lighter carries the dandy’s head and bust, the sculpture represents his body in a three-piece suit. The figure sits with his legs crossed in a lavish tiger’s eye stone armchair.

As well as being a luxury item made with all the skill of the house of S.T. Dupont, it is a relatively rare one: 288 pieces of the lighter are available and only 8 of the lighter and sculpture set.

Functional though it is, it is above all a work of art and a collector’s piece, whose elegance is obvious and is heightened by the lighter and stand together. The S.T. Dupont Dandy Skull lighters are priced at 5,600 euros for the lighter alone and 41,000 euros for the set of stand and lighter.
