The new cigar club at the Monte-Carlo casino

Cigar enthusiasts are waiting for it: one of the most notable cigar clubs in the world will open in the spring of 2025 at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Strictly private, it is intended as a place for aficionados to meet.

The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group enters a partnership to create a cigar club

Known as a major player in high-end tourism across Europe, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is behind numerous projects in hospitality and gaming. A new era has begun with its new management. The idea of creating a select cigar club, and above all one that ranks among the finest in the world, did not simply occur to the group’s new executives: it is taking shape through a notable partnership with Dominique London, the leading company in the marketing of high-end cigars and spirits.

The Monte-Carlo Cigar Club will be housed, symbolically, in the former office of François Blanc, the founder of the Société des Bains de Mer. According to the plans, it should cover 200 m², entirely indoors. A bar, a smoking room and a walk-in humidor designed by the well-known company DeART will be installed there. The decoration has been entrusted to the agency Moinard Bétaille, an established interior design practice which has, for example, carried out the decoration of the residences at One Monte-Carlo. The outdoor terrace will look out over the Hôtel de Paris and Monte-Carlo as well as the Mediterranean.

A very restricted entry to the new Monte-Carlo Cigar Club

Entry to the Monte-Carlo Cigar Club is reserved for members. To become a member, one first has to be sponsored. The venue is designed with care, and the founders’ stated ambition is for the club to rank among the finest and the most exclusive on the planet.

Its location is central and the cigars on offer will be closely selected. They will all come from long-filler producers in the main growing regions of the world. They will also have to be at least 3 years old to be included in the selection. In all, the Monte-Carlo Cigar Club should hold around 35,000 cigars. Access, once again, will be through membership only.
