Karl Lagerfeld in collaboration with the S.T. Dupont brand

After working with Coca-Cola, Geza Schoen and Steidl, Magnum and Uniqlo, and having only just presented Chanel's autumn/winter 2011-2012 haute couture collection, Karl Lagerfeld is now unveiling his latest project.
A new collaboration out of the ordinary
The designer has created a limited edition of ballpoint pens, fountain pens and lighters, named "Mon Dupont". For the launch he was joined by Alexandra Golovanoff and the artist Dani, as well as by Alain Crevet, the brand's chief executive. Clearly pleased with the new collection, they presented the lacquered Prestige Lotus Rouge line and the plainer Chic line in black and silver. The pieces were designed "to sit well in the user's fingers, for comfort and so that they do not leave the office", the brand explains. The asymmetrical triangular shape of the objects does indeed make them pleasant to hold. The lacquered design and its delicate finishes point to French style and craftsmanship.
