Smoke-free beaches, the right solution?

Because of some inconsiderate smokers, the French state is starting to ban smoking on beaches. Litter on beaches does not come from smokers alone, however: plenty of people leave biscuit wrappers, empty water bottles and all sorts of other rubbish behind. Yet very often it is the smoker who pays the price. At Smoking.fr we have decided to do our bit by giving a beach ashtray with every order over 20 euros. All that remains now is to educate people a little further, which is no small task 🙂 and perhaps beaches will continue to be open to smokers who respect the environment.
