In this video, Pipe gazette takes us inside the block drying shed of the Chacom pipe works at Saint-Claude, in the Jura.
The ventilation of this hundred-year-old building dries the briar blocks so that the wood does not split while the pipe is being made. Chacom owns the last briar drying shed of this type still in service in France.
