Bic: a reference brand for lighters and smoking accessories

The Bic brand has existed since 1944 and is known mainly for its pens, in particular the famous Bic Cristal, but it also quickly established itself in smoking accessories with its lighters and other items. The brand is now a reference for lighters, lighter cases and multi-purpose lighters.

Bic lighters

The first lighter was sold in 1972. It had an adjustable flame. The brand soon widened its lighter range with many models.
There is the Bic classic lighter, in maxi, mini and slim versions. Bic classic lighters are flint lighters.
There is also the Bic electronic lighter, in maxi electronic and mini electronic versions. On this model, the flint is replaced by an electronic ignition system.

In 2002 the brand also released a whole range of Bic lighter cases.
The lighter case gives the lighter a smarter look, whether in the touch series, metal series, bic mini metal series, bic C2 metal series, squeeze or collection series.
The cases are compatible with flint lighters. To replace the lighter or the case, simply take the lighter out of the case.

Bic multi-purpose lighters

Since 2000 the brand has also offered multi-purpose lighters, with a range that includes multi purpose, megalighter for candles and megalighter new generation models.
These lighters can be used indoors and outdoors, to light barbecues, candles and fireplaces, or when camping. Their long nozzle, good grip and easy ignition make them safe to handle.
