Maintaining a shisha is essential to keep it working properly and in good condition. Here are the accessories to have on hand to clean a shisha effectively.

The very design of the shisha can make cleaning it complicated. That is why accessories exist specifically for cleaning water pipes. They let you reach corners that would otherwise stay out of reach, so that the whole item is properly clean.

The bottle brush

Also called a cleaning brush, the bottle brush is essential to keep your shisha in good condition and perfectly clean. It works its way into every corner and passes through even the narrowest openings. Its short bristles scrub the walls to remove any deposit. Some brushes are rigid, others flexible so as to follow the shape of the most complex water pipes.

The cleaning brush

While the bottle brush is ideal for the vase, a narrower cleaning brush is very useful for the stem. Thinner, it slides neatly into the tube to scrub the walls.

The sponge

The sponge is very useful for cleaning the whole outside of the shisha, and also for cleaning the bowl. That last detail should not be forgotten if the shisha is to stay clean.

Cotton buds and the cloth

Cotton buds are ideal for cleaning small parts and hose mouthpieces, for example. The cloth is there to wipe the vase and remove any water marks.

Cleaning liquid

Warm soapy water will do perfectly well to clean a shisha. There are also specific and organic products that remove the smallest deposits and dirt effectively. Limpuro, for instance, offers a mild organic liquid for cleaning the walls of a water pipe.

Powder cleaner

Powder cleaner also exists, cheaper but just as effective. Simply dissolve it in a little water and leave the mixture to work directly inside the shisha before rinsing thoroughly with clean water.
