In the world of shisha, a great many products are on offer. Only a few brands, however, compete with genuinely well-made hookahs. Oduman is one of them: the young Turkish company has carved out a place for itself in a fairly select field.

Who is Oduman?

The company Ugur Makine Ins. San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Sti was founded in Turkey in 1979. It makes a variety of products for transport, food, automation and other sectors. In 2014, the group decided to create a new arm under the name Oduman. Specialising in the manufacture and sale of hookahs, the company launched a range that was entirely new to the Turkish market.

Success came quickly, thanks to original lines, high-quality products and ever simpler handling. Whatever the model, the Oduman hookah makes an impression on users. Oduman shishas are now firmly established in the luxury hookah field. They sell well in Turkey and in Europe, and particularly in France, where the originality of the models and their quality are praised by private customers and the trade alike.

What has made Oduman shishas so well known?

Oduman hookahs are entirely novel, both in their shapes and in the materials used. Every glass part is made from top-grade soda-lime glass, the metal parts are stainless steel and the silicone used for the hose is food grade.

On the visual side, Oduman offers models that are genuinely new, in their practicality as much as in their design. Somewhere between a shisha and a piece of laboratory or engineering equipment, they are hard to place. Hence the Oduman N5-Z shisha, which suggests a glass heart in a chemistry laboratory, or the Oduman N9 Tarantula, which is nothing less than a striking spider. The brand has a signature of its own that many of its competitors struggle to match.
