As the year draws to a close, S. T. Dupont is bringing a new range of lighters to market. Ambitious and out of the ordinary, these accessories have as much presence as their designers. Note that they are limited editions.

S. T. Dupont is a French brand known in particular in the smoking world. A byword for luxury and high-end French craftsmanship, the house is now known across the world. It has a long list of collaborations and limited editions to its name, such as 007, Space Odyssey, Cohiba 55, From Paris with Love and many others. S. T. Dupont has recently joined forces with Solyfonte to offer Extrême lighters in the run-up to the end-of-year holidays.

Solyfonte is a French specialist in the art of shaping bronze and silver, and has been creating imposing pieces since 1985. Combining expertise, long-standing craft knowledge and new technologies, the result goes beyond what one might imagine. Christophe Saint Romain, who runs the workshop, also specialises in patina work. The effect is striking enough to give the metal piece a sense of depth and movement.

A one-off collection for the end-of-year holidays

That is how the latest S. T. Dupont lighters came about. A precious blend of fine materials, they are also covered in bronze, entirely patinated and lacquered by hand. They come in 8 models, namely: Rock in a silver or red version, Koi Fish, Dragon, Skull, Motors, Skull & Rose in gilt or silver bronze, Poker in gilt or silver, and Napoléon.

The finishes are carefully done and highly realistic. These S. T. Dupont lighters are offered in limited quantities and at a price ranging between 950 and 1,150 euros. The collaboration does not stop there, since Skull & Rose cigar cutters are also offered in 2 versions: gilt or silver platinum.

On sale to the public since last November, they make for an unusual gift idea for anyone who collects such objects.
