60 shades of cigars, write your own story

The story of a cigar enthusiast, Thomas Wormser, who started out in 2010 wanting to refine his palate. Strongly attached to the object itself and to the various cigar accessories that go with it, such as the lighter, the humidor, the case and the cutter, Thomas soon felt the need for somewhere to record his impressions. The various notebooks he bought did not entirely satisfy him, as they did not go into enough detail on the tasting itself.

For Thomas, a cigar is not just a brand, a size and a few notes: it is above all a close and complex reading of the different terroirs.
His motto: « Stop taking notes… Write your own story ».

From 2011 he set about the project he cared so much about, producing a 58-page notebook. It is a complete notebook, in the form of a pocket-sized volume that fits into a jacket or a jeans pocket. Three years later, working with the active members of a forum well known to aficionados, « Pour une Poignée de Cigares », the project was finalised and put on sale.

Far from the clichés of luxury and the assumptions about elitism that surround cigar smokers, the committed follower of the puro takes an interest in everything. Here, then, is a small volume of some sixty pages ready to record impressions of the vitola of the moment.
The notebook allows the owner to write down, in detail, their observations at every stage of the tasting. The tasting sheet has room for the various aromas and flavours as well as the sensations noted.

In short, whatever kind of enthusiast the reader is, hedonist, « band smoker » or « chair-rung smoker », the notebook is designed to hold their notes in one place.
