A vaporiser, sometimes called a vaporizer, is a small device into which smokers place tobacco or aromatic herbs. The way the plant material is used is quite different from combustion: what is produced is a vapour carrying the active compounds of the plant, released beyond the “flash point”. There are two kinds: portable vaporisers and desktop ones.

Many brands now offer portable models. Storz & Bickel is one of the best-known among users, and its Mighty vaporiser is among the best sellers in France. Close behind is Wolkenkraft with its Fenix mini, whose new 2019 wooden version is well regarded and much cheaper than the Mighty.
