Hand-carved electronic pipe

Cyril Pinot, an artist and maker of art objects, has become the first master pipe maker to carve an electronic pipe by hand. Wanting to give shape and refinement to this new technology, Mr Pinot takes a different approach, treating vaping as a craft and inventing a new trade in the process.

This craftsman has chosen to set up in Perpignan, and describes himself as the first master e-pipe maker. For the past two months he has been building his handmade e-pipes, to the delight of enthusiasts and collectors of art objects. Working on the same principle as electronic cigarettes, Cyril can either start from existing pipes that he converts into e-pipes, or start from nothing and produce a one-off model.

An unusual object of this kind comes at a price: expect to pay between 150 and 200 € for an e-pipe in briar or horn.
