New limited editions from Habanos

Habanos limited editions are always keenly awaited. The brand has announced three new limited editions for its 55th anniversary, aimed at collectors.

A Cohiba year

Fifty-five years is worth marking, and what better than limited editions to blow out the new Habanos candles. The brand announced the news to a small group at an online event held in place of the annual Habanos festival in February.

Cohiba took pride of place, in particular with its Edicion Limitada 55 anniversario Cohiba. The new release has already caught the attention of collectors on the lookout for early access to the boxes of the 2021 Habanos limited editions.

The 2021 Habanos limited editions in detail

The first concerns the Cohiba anniversario. It will come in a “Victoria” format, that is 150 x 57, and will be offered in a box of 10. Their particularity? They are rolled from high-grade tobacco, since it will have aged for at least 2 years. This cigar stands out in particular for its third band (much to the displeasure of smokers who are not keen on them). That band recalls the limited edition for this 55th anniversary.

But three limited editions were announced. For the second, it is the turn of the Hoyo de Monterrey brand and its Maravillas No. 4 to take the spotlight. Like the Cohiba, it is made with tobacco aged for more than two years and will also be offered in a box of 10 puros.

Then comes the third. This one concerns the Bolivar Regentes, better known as the Discretos. This limited edition will be offered in a box of 25 cigars, again made from tobacco leaves aged 2 years.

For the time being no official release date has been given. What is more, the 2020 limited editions are still not available. The hope is therefore that the 2021 editions will reach their audience before the end of the year, so as not to keep aficionados waiting.
