The America he had grown up in was not the one where he would prosper. It was to France that he moved, to start a new life close to the land. As a tobacco grower, he put all his heart and all his experience into his work, so much so that each flavour refers to an episode of his story. And that is how the legend was born.

An American made in France

In growing his tobacco, Ben Northon brought to it all his know-how and more besides. He likes to say that every leaf he grew was a moment of his life. It follows that each of his products bears the name of a deeply rooted memory.

Design, manufacture and distribution are all handled in France. The products, for all their western touch, are entirely made in France and comply with European standards. The names of the range are drawn from that same imagery of distant, wide-open country.
